See the effect
The history shows what your change moved.
Your weekly report: three levers instead of a hundred numbers
No dashboard you have to open every day. Once a week, an e-mail with what matters.
- The three most valuable actions per shop, big effect with little effort first
- What moved: fixed, new or back again
- One click leads to the instructions, and unsubscribing is just as quick
The report above shows the Standard view. With Free it tells you how many actions are open, with a link into your account.
The EU warranty notice is missing
Why it matters: From 27 September 2026 this notice is mandatory for every online shop in the EU. It shows buyers at a glance that their legal rights apply in your shop - trust before they pay.
How to fix it:
Download the official EU notice in colour from the European Commission. In your header or footer, catalogue or checkout, add a sentence like "Your legal guarantee rights" that opens the full notice on click, and always link europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees. Add the notice to your order confirmation e-mail too.

Product images without a description for Google
Why it matters: Alt texts make product images readable for Google (and screen readers). Without them, your products never appear in Google image search.
How to fix it:
Describe briefly what each product image shows (e.g. "Red women's trail-running shirt, back view"). Most shop systems have an alt-text field on the image.
What changed
Since last week:
1 fixed on example-fashion.com
1 new on example-fashion.com
Do it yourself or hand it on
Every action names its effect and effort. What takes “~10 min” fits between two orders. For “Developer needed” you simply pass the instructions on.

Too many scripts slow down buttons and menus
Why and how
Loading many separate JavaScript files slows down the page - each script is a network request and can block the browser from becoming interactive, so shoppers wait longer before buttons and menus actually respond.
How to fix it: Ask your agency or in-house development team to bundle the theme's JavaScript files and load them with defer or async. Uninstall apps, plugins and tracking scripts you no longer use yourself - each one ships its own files.
Instructions to hand on to an agency or developer. Example.

Questions from shop owners
I'm not technical. Can I get anything out of this?
Yes. ShopWatch is not a list of errors: for every action it says why it matters and what to do, in plain language. You can follow the instructions yourself or simply hand them to your agency or developer.
How much time does this take each week?
As much as you want to invest. The weekly report takes a minute to read, and many actions are done in about ten minutes. What needs a developer says so, so you can plan for it.
My agency looks after the technical side. Does this still help me?
Yes. You see what is due and what it brings, and pass the instructions on to your agency. Afterwards the history shows whether it was done and whether it worked.
Do I have to install anything?
No. You only enter your shop's address. No plugin, no code, no access to your shop system. It works with Shopify, WooCommerce, Shopware and most other systems.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled monthly, and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Free needs no credit card.
